You will meet in central Bled to start a self-guided e-bike ride to Vintgar Gorge. After a brief orientation, you will set off along quiet country roads. The e-bike will assist you up the hills so you can enjoy the rolling countryside and natural views without working too hard. The ride to the gorge is about 4 km one way, roughly 8 km of cycling in total. At Vintgar Gorge you will walk along the scenic, one-way wooden trail through the gorge for about 1.6 km. The gorge trail is demanding in places, so you should be prepared for some steep or uneven sections. Because the gorge follows a one-way route, you will not return to your e-bike via the same path; instead you will follow an alternate route back of around 4.1 km to reach your bike parking spot. Along the way you will experience the dramatic rock walls, rushing water and forested surroundings that make Vintgar special.
