    This ticket will provide you with the chance to go up the 65-yard-high Harz Tower in Torfhaus to take in the scenic Harz landscape. From two 360-degree viewing platforms, you can get panoramic views of the Brocken and the Harz National Park. You can choose to ascend on foot or take the elevator. For thrill seekers, you can step onto the Skywalk, a glass platform at a high altitude offering an unobstructed view 148 feet below. With a separate ticket, you can descend from the Harz Tower via the Rasantia adventure slide, a 110-yard-long slide that wraps around the exterior of the tower, allowing you to experience speeds of up to 16 mi per hour. You’ll have sound and light effects as you journey down the slide.

    This experience takes place in the former horse stable of the Dippe seed company, where mustard is still produced. You will move through historical rooms that display local handicrafts and the building’s heritage. Along the way, the setting will give a sense of the site’s past while you learn about the craft of mustard making. You can try our mustard fresh and engage your senses — taste, smell and feel the different textures and spice levels. The visit will explore spices and seasonings and the possibilities of mustard as both a seasoning and a medicinal agent. You may notice the distinct flavours between yellow and brown mustard and how each works in different uses. A guided tour is offered and will be followed by factory sales, where you can buy products on site.

    Quedlinburg’s timber-framed Old Town will be the focus of this self-guided audio tour. You’ll walk at your own pace through streets lined with more than 2,000 UNESCO-recognised timber-framed houses, many of which date from roughly 300 to 800 years old. The route begins in Marktplatz (the market square), beneath the ivy-covered Quedlinburg Rathaus, one of Germany’s oldest town halls. As you move through the town, you’ll pass Stiftskirche St Servatius Cathedral and hear about Johann Christoph GutsMuth, known as the father of physical education.
