You will cruise towards Rosendal through striking fjords and past islands, arriving to a short walk up to the Baroniet and the Rosendal Gardens. At the heart of the grounds stands the small manor from the 1660s that belonged to Ludvig Rosenkrantz and Karen Mowatt, set within a historic landscape shaped over centuries. As you move through the grounds, you will encounter a Renaissance garden, a romantic landscape garden and a kitchen garden. From the Rosendal Gardens you will enjoy a broad view of the surrounding mountains — Malmangernuten, Melderskin and Laurdalstind — as well as the waterfall Hattebergfossen and the waters of Hardangerfjorden. The gardens have been developed across several hundred years of changing styles, so you can experience more than 300 years of garden history. You may also want to have lunch in the Garden cafeteria.

You will meet your guide at the meeting point in Skjeggedal, where they will welcome you and share practical information before you set off. Most of the time the hike starts from Mågelitopp (P3), making the route a long 20 km return to Trolltunga. Because of the distance and terrain, the trek requires good physical condition and appropriate clothing and equipment. Your guides will do their best to look after you, but it is important that you bring the necessary stamina and kit. As you move through the landscape, your guide will share local stories and facts about the area. The group will pause for regular breaks and visit some hidden gems along the way, stopping at some of the best photo spots. At Trolltunga you will have a longer stop to enjoy the spectacular scenery and to eat a well‑deserved lunch before you head back. On the return journey there will be further opportunities to take in the views as you make your way back towards civilisation.

From Norheimsund, a small-group RIB safari takes you into Fyksesund, a narrow and peaceful branch of the Hardangerfjord where large tour boats cannot go. Surrounded by steep mountains, waterfalls and quiet waters, the trip gives you a more intimate view of the fjord landscape. Your local captain will share stories about the area's nature, history and everyday fjord life as you cruise past dramatic scenery, pause for photos and visit the roadless hamlet of Botnen — a historic settlement that offers a glimpse into life in this remote part of Hardanger. Fyksesund changes character through the year: in spring and after rainfall waterfalls stream down the mountainsides, while in winter many freeze into striking ice formations. The small-group format lets you enjoy scenic beauty and local storytelling together with a lively RIB ride, away from the larger tour boats and the busiest crowds.

You will enjoy an authentic Norwegian hiking experience around Trolltunga in the high mountains of Hardangervidda National Park. The route is designed so you can experience Trolltunga with minimal queues and take in both sunset and sunrise over the plateaus. Evenings will be relaxed around a campfire before you sleep in sturdy Fjällräven tents on warm sleeping mats. Traditional, tasty local food is included, such as the group’s well-known reindeer stew. Along the way, the guides — who have walked these mountains since childhood — will lead you to small detours that many hikers pass by. These include a beautifully located waterfall where you will have a scenic lunch, and their sunset rock, Preikestolen (the original), which offers the best view of the Ringedalsvatnet lake and surrounding valley. Your guides will share their local knowledge and show you the highlights they love in this landscape.
