  • Via Ferrata Tour near Red Lake (Lacu Rosu)

    Lacu Roşu
The via ferrata on the rocky walls of the Kiscohard Massif in the Eastern Carpathians offers an engineered vertical route that combines metal rungs, fixed iron ropes and an aerial bridge. As you follow the secured line, your guide will give full instruction and the necessary equipment is provided, so the route is suitable for people of all experience levels and works well as a family-friendly outing. You will strap on a harness and move along protected sections of rock, gaining height safely while your guide coaches each step. Along the way you’ll look out over Red Lake and the surrounding mountain peaks, and you may catch expansive views down into the Bicaz Gorges from above. The route is designed for security and accessibility, so you can focus on learning the techniques, managing any fear of heights and enjoying the scenery rather than worrying about technical details. This is a fully guided experience with assistance throughout, allowing you to learn how via ferrata equipment works and to experience climbing in a controlled setting while taking in some of the region’s most striking landscapes.
