This experience will take you to vibrant coral sites and to Koh Rang National Park, known for crystal-clear waters and protected reefs. Trips run rain or shine and cater to scuba diving, freediving and snorkelling, while PADI dive and freedive courses also run alongside the fun outings. You may visit local coral sites that often include the HTMS Chang wreck, or explore the sheltered reefs around Koh Rang.
On board you will find a relaxed, well-organised setup that makes it easy for friends and families to share the same boat even if people choose different activities. Spacious boats will also welcome anyone who prefers to stay on deck and relax between swims. Along the way you will get time in the water over reefs and wreck sites, and you can join a PADI course if you wish to train while others in your group snorkel or dive. Bring sun protection for time on the boat, especially for your back and legs.

You’ll join boat trips that cater to diving, freediving, snorkelling and PADI courses, heading either to nearby local dive sites or out to Koh Rang National Park. In Koh Rang you’ll spend time in clear waters amid the protected area’s coral reefs, while local sites also offer good conditions for all three activities.
PADI dive and freedive courses are run from the same boat used for the daytrips, so family and friends can share the outing even if some of you are training and others are simply snorkelling or relaxing on board. As you move between sites, the boats provide plenty of space and a comfortable platform for those joining the trip but not entering the water.
Trips operate in both high and low season, and the crew aim to keep the atmosphere relaxed throughout. Whether you plan to learn with a PADI course, practise freediving or explore reefs with a snorkel, the experience is arranged to let everyone enjoy the sea and the marine life around the dive sites and Koh Rang National Park.
With this ticket you can enjoy uncomplicated combined packages of bus and ferry travel to explore Thailand's islands. You can choose from a number of bus pickup points, or make your way to the shore-front independently to step onto your catamaran or trimaran ferry. You’ll journey through beautiful landscapes on services that can take you to places such as Koh Kood and Koh Chang.
This experience brings together a Rescue Diver course and Emergency First Response (EFR) training. In the Rescue Diver course you will learn how to manage dive accidents, avoid problems underwater and assist divers in trouble. As you move through the training, you will build the skills and awareness needed to act as a helpful buddy and a more responsible diver. Training as a rescue diver is described as the first step toward those roles.
EFR is a complete first aid course focused on readiness to help in emergencies. It will cover practical first‑aid knowledge useful for both travellers and divers. The qualification is internationally recognised, so you will leave with a standard first‑aid certification that is widely accepted. Together, these programmes will strengthen your ability to prevent and respond to incidents in and out of the water.
Off Koh Kood, you’ll join daily trips aboard a wooden boat to a selection of dive and snorkel spots. The trip makes three stops in the park, including two dives, and the scenery along the way includes lovely bays, great beaches and coral reefs rich with fish. As you move between sites you’ll enjoy the coastal views and have opportunities to snorkel at different locations.
Divers are guided by a dive master and will dive in small groups. All necessary dive equipment is included; a dive computer is not included but can be rented. Cameras are available to hire, or a staff member can take pictures of your diving day and provide them on an SD card. On regular daytrips a lunch buffet is offered, along with hot drinks, snacks and fruit.
If you're a non-diver who wants to try diving, this experience will introduce you to the underwater world of the coral reef. You will have an introduction to basic diving and safety before you enter the water, so no previous diving experience is required. As you move through the session, an instructor will guide you through a few simple exercises in shallow water to build your confidence.
After the shallow-water practice, you will go on two dives on the coral reef. Along the way you will apply the skills you practised and experience breathing and moving underwater under supervision. This DSD (Discover Scuba Diving) experience is designed as a gentle, supported introduction to diving and the reef environment.
You’ll join daily boat trips that cater to diving, freediving, snorkelling and PADI courses. On board you’ll receive a safety briefing before heading out. If you plan to freedive and hold a licence, you should be accompanied by a buddy, as the freedive activity is not run with a private guide; this helps ensure a safer apnoea experience.
Regular day trips typically head either to local dive sites — including the HTMS Chang shipwreck — or to Koh Rang National Park. At Koh Rang you’ll encounter clear waters and the protected area’s pristine coral reefs. Both the wreck sites and the national park are suited to diving, freediving and snorkelling, so family and friends can share the same trip even if they do different activities. The boats have plenty of space and are comfortable for passengers, and whether it’s high or low season the operator aims to provide a relaxed day on the water.

Your private transfer starts from Koh Chang, the largest island in the Gulf of Thailand, known for its dense jungles, hiking trails, natural wonders, and quaint coastal villages and beaches. You’ll be collected from any hotel on Koh Chang, making the start of your journey easy and convenient.
The service includes a ferry crossing and a comfortable, air-conditioned ride in a private sedan or minivan direct to the airport. The transfer will ensure a smooth journey, and your driver will share insider knowledge about local traditions and cultural highlights along the way. This option lets you travel directly from Koh Chang to the airport with minimal fuss and local insight during the trip.
Canoeing around the bay at Bang Bao offers a relaxed, scenic experience on calm water. The bay itself is protected and usually quiet, so paddling here is pleasant and accessible. As you move through the sheltered water you will get clear views back to the village and plenty of chances to enjoy the gentle surroundings.
If you prefer a little more adventure, you can paddle out along the cliff side on the open sea side, where lovely cliffs line the shoreline. For a gentler option, you can head to the pier and stop in Bang Bao village. There you may take a walk along the pier and enjoy a photo shoot with village and sea views. Along the way you will choose the pace and route that suit your comfort and skill.
On Koh Chang, the Discover Scuba Diving programme lets you experience breathing underwater for the first time while exploring tropical coral reefs. It is perfect for beginners and non‑divers and takes place under the direct supervision of a professional instructor on a comfortable diving boat. You will take part in two introductory dives as part of a full day at sea.
Before you enter the water, your instructor will explain everything step by step to keep the experience relaxed and easy to follow. You will start in shallow water to practise a few simple skills, then progress slowly into your first true scuba dive. After lunch on board, you will make a second dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres.
This programme may also count as the first day of your PADI Open Water Diver course. Along the way you will learn basic scuba techniques and safety procedures while seeing reef environments typical of the area, all with hands‑on guidance from your instructor.

The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the recognised entry-level scuba certification, delivered around the coral reefs of Koh Chang and Koh Rang National Park. On Day 1 you will cover basic theory and practise confined-water skills in a pool or a shallow bay. As you move through the course, Days 2 and 3 include four open-water dives from the boat at the beautiful coral reefs around Koh Chang and Koh Rang National Park. You will learn in small groups, so you’ll get personal attention and a relaxed learning pace. All equipment, hotel transfer, lunch and drinks are included.
Along the way you will learn essential dive skills and gain confidence underwater while exploring vibrant marine life. After completing the course you will be certified to dive independently to a maximum depth of 18 metres anywhere in the world.
The PADI Freediver course introduces you to freediving in both confined water and the open sea. You will prepare the theoretical part by self-study using the PADI Touch app, so you can arrive ready to practise the skills in the water. The course focuses on safe, structured learning and gives you the basics needed to start freediving under supervision.
At the beach centre you will train breath-hold techniques and do some land-based exercises before entering the water. After land practice, you will begin practising in the water from the beach or in the pool to build confidence and technique. As you move through the course, you will then train in deeper water on the following day to extend your skills under appropriate supervision. The experience is hands-on and centred on gradual progression from land to confined water and finally to deeper open-water practice.
This entry-level activity is an introduction to the PADI Open Water Course and requires no commitment to continue with the full certification. It includes a pre-dive pool session, held at least the day before, where you will master a safety drill, followed by two open water dives. The activity is registered with PADI and becomes a substantial credit towards a PADI Open Water Course.
Along the way you will become familiar with underwater breathing and the use of diving equipment, which helps produce a safer and more enjoyable experience in open water. Instruction is kept personal: there will be no more than two students per instructor, so you’ll receive focused attention as you learn and practise the core skills.
Around Koh Chang you can choose between two dive options, with the final plan selected according to weather, currents and your preferences. Each trip includes two dives for certified divers, and on some days a third dive may be added.
The HTMS Chang Wreck option takes you to Thailand’s largest shipwreck, the HTMS Chang, followed by two coral reef sites. You may do this as two or three dives, depending on the day and your choice. The Koh Rang National Park option visits two vibrant coral sites inside the marine park, which are well suited to relaxed, shallow dives rich in marine life. Along either route you will explore reef formations and underwater features specific to the sites chosen.
If you have a particular dive site in mind, send a message and the operator will check whether it can be included in your plan.
Around Koh Chang, the dive trips are designed to introduce you to the island’s underwater highlights. You will usually visit one of two main areas: either the famous HTMS Chang wreck with two nearby colourful coral sites, or three coral dives in Koh Rang National Park — a protected marine area known for its crystal-clear water and vibrant reef life. As you move through the dives, you will see varied reef habitats and the marine scenery typical of these locations.
The exact dive sites are carefully selected each day by an experienced dive team, depending on weather and current conditions, so the chosen itinerary may vary. Trips include three dives for certified divers, with time to relax on board between descents. Along the way you can enjoy the seascape, compare notes with fellow divers and soak up the view between dives, making the day as much about time above water as below.
