You will set out to explore the island’s contrasts, moving through valleys, alongside streams and up toward its peaks. Along the way you will see picturesque towns such as São Domingos and Assomada, taking in the varied landscapes and local scenery.
You will also have the chance to visit the botanical garden at São Jorge. Later, you will visit the prison of Tarrafal and learn about its history. The visit ends with free time at the beautiful Bay of Tarrafal, where you may take a bath or relax by the water.
