On this relaxing sightseeing tour you’ll visit Aphrodite’s Rock, the fabled birthplace of the Greek goddess of beauty. Along the way you’ll explore the Kourion archaeological site, where you can see the Roman baths and amble through the site’s centrepiece, the Greco‑Roman theatre — a venue where concerts are still held to this day.
You’ll then move on to Kolossi Castle, a former Crusaders' stronghold built in the 12th century and historically known for the production of Richard the Lionheart’s favourite wine, Commandaria. After that you’ll head into the mountain‑wrapped stone village of Omodos for a guided walk along its narrow cobbled streets and a visit to the monastery of the Holy Cross, one of the oldest monasteries on the island. The tour finishes with a visit to a local winery, where wines will be uncorked for you to sample.
