In a pleasant, bright studio-gallery in the Lagunillas neighbourhood of Malaga, you will explore the art and life of Pablo Picasso. The space sits about 50 metres from the Natal house and the Picasso Museum, surrounded by local creators. As you learn, you will be introduced to Picasso’s different styles, with attention to cubism, some of his most important works and the women who appear in his art.
You won’t need prior painting experience. The technique used is simple and you will be guided through clear, step-by-step instructions that do not rely on copying. Along the way, you’ll create your own cubist piece titled 'Through the eyes of Picasso', working from the ideas introduced in the session. The workshop aims to help you discover your own approach to colour and form, and you may be surprised by what you produce.
