At A Compás, in the heart of Seville city centre, flamenco is at the centre of our work. You’ll be taught by professional dancers who also work as experienced flamenco teachers. For more than a decade they have created artistic projects, performed concerts and taken tours across Spain and other countries, bringing practical stage experience into the studio.
The class gives you a direct, hands-on encounter with flamenco. You’ll learn core movements, rhythms and the expressive codes that shape the dance, with attention to feeling and phrasing as well as technique. As you move through the steps, the session will help you understand flamenco’s nature and emotional language, and it can make a live flamenco show more meaningful if you plan to see one. Lessons are available in English, Spanish, Polish, Arabic and German, so you can learn in the language that suits you best.
