During this tour, you’ll explore the characterful streets of Strasbourg’s Old Town, discovering its unique culinary scene. Due to the city’s history, its cuisine has a strong German influence with an Alsatian twist.
Your guide will lead you to four excellent eateries and you’ll have tastings of characteristic dishes at each destination. Some of the specialties you’ll try include the savory tarte flambée pastry, choucroute – a dish consisting of sauerkraut, potatoes, meat and sausages –, indulgent cheese dishes and spaetzle. You’ll end on a sweet note with a traditional yeast donut and a Christmas cake flavored with honey and spices.
