This guided tour of the Eiffel Tower begins on the esplanade, where you’ll take in the view of the structure from below while waiting for the elevator. You’ll ride a glass‑enclosed lift up to the second floor, where you’ll enjoy one of the best panoramas of Paris. Along the way, your guide will point out landmarks such as Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Sacré‑Cœur in Montmartre, the Grand Palais and Les Invalides. The second level also has places to eat, including a macaron bar, plus exhibits and souvenir shopping; your guide can offer recommendations and you may stay as long as you like to take it all in.
If you’ve chosen the summit upgrade, you’ll continue up to the very top. Your guide will highlight what to look for there, including a champagne bar, indoor and outdoor observation decks and a recreation of Gustave Eiffel’s private office with wax figures of his daughter and Thomas Edison. The tower also houses exhibits such as a model of the 1889 summit painted red rather than grey. The first level contains additional exhibits, a glass floor and occasional pop‑ups.
