At The Garden you'll find a space devoted to plant conservation, research and education for people of all ages. More than 80,000 visitors come each year to wander its paths and learn about the collections. The planting is arranged around global habitat themes, so you will move from Scottish landscapes to Australian and Chinese woodland glades as you explore.
As you move through the different habitats, you will encounter plants of interest in every month of the year, with something to catch the attention of all ages. The setting will also offer a restful, wellbeing walk that takes you somewhere else, offering a chance to pause and enjoy the variety of plants and the research and educational work that underpins the displays. You may be through the main habitats in an hour or two, depending on how long you stop to read and look.
