The Viking Experience

A 3-hour Viking activity in Herefordshire with one hour axe throwing, archery and one hour Nordic games

Free cancellation available
Up to 24 hours before the start time

In the heart of Herefordshire, The Viking Experience lets you try traditional Viking activities in a hands-on setting. You will take part in axe throwing, learning how to handle and hurl hatchets with technique and focus. Along the way you will also practise archery, working with a bow and arrow to improve your aim and concentration.

As the session continues, you will play a selection of Nordic games such as Kubb, Molkky, Stige and Bullrings. These games emphasise strategy, skill and friendly competition, and bring a playful taste of Viking-style leisure. The experience is suitable for families, friends and team-building groups, offering a mix of challenge, camaraderie and a glimpse into aspects of Viking life.
