You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Accra and taken out of the city for a day of nature and calm waters. At Shai Hills Resource Reserve a guided tour will bring you up close to antelopes, baboons, a variety of birds and ancient caves. Along the way you’ll learn about the reserve’s landscape and wildlife, and if you feel adventurous you’ll be able to try rock climbing with experienced instructors on hand to guide you.
Later, the trip continues to Akosombo for a peaceful boat cruise on the Volta River, where you can relax and enjoy the riverside scenery. After the cruise you’ll have lunch by the water, with a selection of Ghanaian and continental favourites. To finish the day, you’ll be driven back to your hotel for a comfortable return.
