    Please note that the tour guide will be with you all the time except inside the holy monasteries.

    The tour provider will send you your bus or train tickets by email one day before your trip.

    From Monday to Friday, round-trip transportation between Thessaloniki and Kalambaka (Meteora) is provided by public bus. You have to change bus at Trikala Station. During the weekend, the transportation from Thessaloniki to Kalambaka and back is with a combination of the train and the bus.

    Please note the following train and bus timetable if you book your tour on a weekend (Saturday and Sunday):

    Please note that the departure is from Thessaloniki Macedonia Intercity Bus Station. You’ll change buses at Trikala Bus Station and catch the bus for Kalambaka. In Kalabaka, you have to stop at the Fournos bus stop, where you’ll be picked up by the staff, who will be holding a signboard with your name.
