Near Delphi you will follow a stretch of the E4 European path that traces the steps of the ancient Greeks. The route takes you through the same terrain once travelled in antiquity, offering a direct connection to the region’s history as you move along.
Along the way you will gain a unique view of the Delphi Ancient sanctuary, the Olive Grove and the Corinthian Gulf. The walk crosses a dramatic environmental transition: only 650 m altitude difference separates an Alpine landscape from a Mediterranean one, so you will notice changing vegetation and panoramas as you progress. The experience focuses on these sights and the sense of following a historic mountain route.
