This Try Scuba experience takes place on the house reef at Yacht Beach, beneath Hotel Park Plaza Histria on Verudela in Pula. You will have a short theory session with an instructor or divemaster, followed by an introduction to the equipment. After you’ve learned a few basic skills and what will happen underwater, you will begin your first dive and take your first steps into the underwater part of the world.
A local instructor or divemaster will accompany you and watch out for you as you explore the reef. Along the way they will show you the local marine life, including fish, nudibranchs, crabs and eels, and point out fragments of 2,000‑year‑old amphorae found here. The session is designed as an initial, guided introduction to scuba diving and to give you the confidence to continue exploring the underwater world.
