Galaxy Surf Bali is based on Kuta Beach, a safe place to learn to surf. The instructors are experienced and certified in surf lifesaving, so you will be taught by people who know how to keep you safe in the water. Along the way you'll learn practical skills suited to your level, from handling the board to reading the waves.
If you're a beginner — even a non-swimmer — you may join and your instructor will work with you in shallow water. You will practise standing and riding the foam waves until you feel comfortable. For intermediate surfers, the instructors will take you out to the line-up and teach you how to catch the green waves and improve your technique. At each session you will receive free photos and videos of yourself riding the waves, so you can see your progress and keep a record of the experience.
