You will learn the full batik process from start to finish and be able to take your finished piece with you at the end. The hands-on session covers the complete steps involved in creating a batik design, so you will see how the cloth is prepared, how patterns are applied and how the final result is revealed. Along the way you can work at your own pace and finish a piece you can keep.
The workshop is set in a peaceful location close to the great and beautiful Hindu temple of Prambanan. Because of its proximity to the temple, it’s a good option to combine this batik experience with a day tour of the Prambanan area.
