This Temples & Mangrove Forest Tour combines Bhubaneswar’s ancient heritage with coastal wilderness. On arrival in Bhubaneswar you will take a city tour that visits notable temples such as Parasurameshwar, Mukteshwar, Rajarani and Lingaraj. Along the way you will see the historic Khandgiri and Udayagiri Jain caves and view the Dhauli Rock Edicts. As part of the day you will also experience the Dhauli light and sound show, which presents the site’s history through a narrated performance.
The journey continues to Bhitarakanika National Park, a biodiverse sanctuary known for Olive Ridley turtles and estuarine crocodiles. You will traverse the mangrove forests by boat, following serpentine creeks and watching for the varied birdlife in and around Bagagahan Bird Sanctuary. The tour also includes a visit to the Ratnagiri Buddhist excavation, where ancient remains reveal the area’s past. The experience finishes with a return to Bhubaneswar, leaving you with a mix of temple architecture, coastal ecosystems and archaeological sites to reflect on.

As per your flight schedule, coordinated pickup will be arranged from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BBI), Bhubaneswar. A private chauffeur-driven air-conditioned vehicle will be provided for the entire tour. Pickup is also available from all hotels, residences, and other accommodations in Bhubaneswar. Travelers arriving at the airport will be welcomed and assisted by our office executive. Please provide your hotel or flight details at least 3 days before the tour.
