A relaxed walking tour through the streets and squares of Mantova will introduce you to the city’s history and its most important monuments. You will stroll along historic thoroughfares and pause in the main piazzas to take in façades, monuments and the urban layout that tell the story of the city over the centuries. Along the way, short explanations will place the sites in their historical context so you can appreciate what you see.
This experience covers only exterior visits on streets and in squares. It does not include entry to museums or churches. You may be able to enter the Basilica of S. Andrea, but only if there are no services taking place and the church is open at that time.
