Sato Code is an escape game through the heart of Pavia. Set in the city centre, it unfolds from the Dome and leads you towards the medieval towers of Piazza Leonardo. A dozen clues have been placed in the streets and shops of the old town, so you will hunt for hints, crack codes and solve puzzles much like in a classic escape room.
Along the way you will encounter hidden symbols in a record store and a cryptic message in a pizzeria, with every object forming part of a larger mystery. The challenges will become progressively harder, so you’ll need to use all your brainpower and work closely with your team to make progress. Active participation is recommended from the age of 13, and the game is not aimed at young children.
As you move through the historic centre, you’ll pass Pavia’s well-known landmarks and also come across a few lesser-seen corners of the city. The experience combines puzzle-solving with a walking route that reveals both famous sights and tucked-away gems of the old town.
