You will ascend Europe’s tallest active volcano, Mount Etna, and watch a Sicilian sunset from the mountain slopes. The experience begins with a scenic drive up Etna, where you will take in constantly changing volcanic scenery and enjoy a wide panorama of the surrounding countryside as you climb.
Along the way you will see stark lava flows and ancient craters that give the mountain its otherworldly character. As you reach higher elevations, those volcanic formations will become more dramatic and the views will open up, culminating in the colours of a sunset over the island.
