In Bonorva, in north‑west Sardinia, a family‑run farmhouse invites you to a hands‑on culinary workshop focused on seadas, the island’s traditional dessert. On arrival you’ll be welcomed with an aperitif in the farmhouse setting. From April to September a demonstration of cheese making typically accompanies the visit, so you may also see how the fresh cheese used in seadas is made.
As you move through the workshop an expert cook will guide you through each stage. You’ll knead the dough, fill the pastries with fresh cheese, and fry them until they are golden, before a generous drizzle of local honey is added. Along the way you’ll learn about the food traditions passed down through generations and get a sense of daily life in the Sardinian countryside. When your seadas are ready, you’ll taste them warm and fragrant in the welcoming farm environment. This experience is suitable for those who want to enjoy Sardinia as a guest and to learn a local recipe by doing it themselves.
