This rafting descent on the river Noce follows the extra path and is ideal if you are trying rafting for the first time but want to feel strong emotions. You’ll start in Monclassico and move through Malè’s Gorges forest, finishing at Ponte Stori in the village of Caldes. Along the way, a continuous succession of rapids will break up stretches of breathtaking, picturesque natural landscape.
Before you descend, each rafting guide will give a short theory lesson and explain the commands you’ll use in the raft. Descents take place in rafts of six people, so you’ll be part of a small team as you navigate the rapids and follow the guide’s instructions. From May to September, when the river is at its highest level, the Noce is among the most popular destinations for rafting in Europe.
