Ciceru’s self-guided walking tour lets you explore Padua at your own pace, using audio and text in seven languages on your phone. The experience is set up like a treasure hunt: the route follows 10 stops and includes riddles to solve as you move between sights. Along the way, you’ll follow clues and listen to commentary that brings the city’s past to life.

You’ll start at Piazza Antenore, next to the monument to Padua’s founder, and walk through the Jewish Ghetto on Via San Martino e Solferino. The route passes the historic Palazzo Bo, seat of the University of Padua, and continues through the lively Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza dei Signori. You’ll see the Duomo in Piazza del Duomo and cross Via Arco Vallaresso as you learn about the city’s layered history. The tour also stops at the evocative monuments in Piazza Insurrezione and the Roman amphitheatre on Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi, finishing at the Monumento a Giuseppe Garibaldi, which commemorates his role in Italian unification.
