At the Amarone Venetian Villa and Chateau, built between the 1500s and 1700s at the centre of Valpolicella’s history, you’ll enjoy an immersive wine and art experience. You will taste the award‑winning wines of brothers Giovanni and Guglielmo Bertani, whose family are among the founders of the region. Your guide will lead you through the villa’s neoclassical architecture and frescoed rooms, and across the romantic gardens to the ancient vineyards of the Clos, explaining their place in local winemaking history as you move through the estate.
The visit continues into the estate’s working areas: the natural grape drying rooms, the original vinification area where Amarone Classico Riserva was made, and down into the monumental ageing cellars that hold barrels more than two hundred years old. Each tour includes a seated wine tasting so you can savour the wines you’ve learned about in the very rooms where they were produced.
