With small group sizes, instruction will be tailored to your skill level, whether you’re starting out or already have experience. Along the way you’ll grate fresh wasabi, slice sushi-grade fish and assemble a range of sushi by hand. The session balances practical technique with cultural context, so you’ll understand both how to make the dishes and why certain methods are used.

At the end of the class there is a graduation ceremony and a certificate of completion. You’ll also take home techniques and recipes to try making sushi at home for friends and family.
