The St Kitts Scenic Railway takes you on a gentle journey around the island aboard a narrow-gauge train first built in the early 20th century to carry sugarcane from plantations to the sugar factory. The route follows a roughly 30-mile circular radius, passing picturesque villages, lush rainforests, and a mix of urban and rural landscapes. Along the way you’ll see farming terraces and the different livestock that seem to freely roam the island.
The train has two levels: an upper deck with open-air seating for panoramic views and a lower deck with air-conditioning if you prefer to sit inside.
