Rabat Restaurant Cooking Class

Guided market tour in Rabat's Boukroune medina followed by hands-on cooking class in a historic family-owned riad

Free cancellation available
Up to 24 hours before the start time
Duration: 3 hours

In Rabat you will step into a hands-on culinary experience that begins at Boukroune, the fresh produce market in the old Medina. As you move through the stalls, your host will explain local traditions and customs and ask about your preferences before recommending a menu. You will choose what to cook, then shop for fresh ingredients for the workshop alongside your host.

With the market shopping done, you will be welcomed into a historic family-owned riad where you’ll join the chef’s brigade. In a lively, interactive setting you’ll learn Moroccan cooking techniques and prepare gourmet dishes that reflect Rabat’s gastronomic traditions. After the class, you will savour the full menu you helped create — from appetizers to desserts — served with Moroccan hospitality. The experience will finish with a joyful cup of Moroccan tea, leaving you with new skills and lasting memories.
