If you’re hoping to observe whales off the west coast of Mauritius, this speedboat excursion will take you into the local whale waters. The crew will do their very best to locate and show you whales living along the coast, guiding the boat to areas where these animals are known to appear. You’ll travel on board a speedboat and spend time watching the sea for signs of activity.
Sperm whales can be observed all year round, while humpback whales can be observed between June and October. Along the way you’ll hear from the crew about what to look for and where whales are commonly found. You may want to bring a camera to capture any sightings and binoculars if you have them, as the experience is focused on viewing these animals in their natural environment.
