You will start in Querétaro’s downtown, exploring a neighbourhood rich with history and local flavours on a two-hour walking and eating adventure. As you move through Mercado La Cruz, you'll sample breakfast favourites such as gorditas, tacos and fresh, local fruit. Along the way, you'll meet beloved vendors, see food being prepared up close and have the chance to ask questions about ingredients and cooking techniques.
The walk continues beyond La Cruz toward Plaza de Armas and Plaza Zenea, where the tour will finish with a taste of Oaxaca. Your guide will share local history and context as you move between markets and plazas, so you'll learn about the dishes you try as well as the cultural stories behind them. Expect a relaxed, food-focused introduction to Querétaro’s downtown and plenty of opportunities to taste and learn.
