This all‑inclusive trip explores the Sea of Cortez with a focus on close, responsible encounters with marine life. You will be provided with excellent lunch on board, supplied gear, water and more. The experience centres mainly on mobula rays, including visits to some of the largest aggregations of these animals, and moves through the sea in search of blue whales, orcas, pilot whales and sea lions. Along the way, guides will explain behaviours and local ecology so you will learn about the animals you may see. Sightings are not guaranteed, as the ocean decides what appears.
The operators prioritise sourcing from local communities and support scientific work through donations, photo‑identification and citizen science trips. By joining, you will be contributing to those efforts and may take part in recording encounters that help researchers. The trip aims to encourage a deeper appreciation of the Sea of Cortez and ways to protect it for future generations.
