On this guided hike to Monkey Mountain, you’ll meet your host Jair at the Sayulita bus station and take public transport to the nearby village of Higuera Blanca. From there you’ll set off on an 8 km hike that climbs to a viewpoint offering 360° vistas of the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra Madre. Along the way Jair will guide you so you can enjoy the scenery and the route without worrying about logistics.
After the hike you’ll refresh with a fresh coconut at a small local spot, then head back to one of Sayulita’s most traditional restaurants for a local meal. If you have any dietary restrictions, let Jair know and he’ll prepare a special menu. You’ll only need to bring water, sunscreen and your sense of adventure, as the guide will take care of the rest. The experience finishes after the meal, leaving you with lasting memories of the journey.
