In Huatulco, this small-group boat tour (maximum 8 guests) takes you farther offshore and along the bays and reefs to look for marine life. Along the way you'll search a larger area for dolphins, sea turtles and manta rays, and whales may be seen from December through March. You will snorkel on healthy reefs chosen by the crew and learn about local species, habitats and reef health from a bilingual Naturalist team whose expertise includes Marine Biologists, DiveMasters, Captains and Photographers. An underwater microphone lets you listen to dolphins chatter as you move between bays.
The tour runs aboard Stenella, an 8.6 m boat built for ocean exploration with a 140 hp engine, a spotting tower and cushioned seating (the boat seats up to 10). Facilities include a marine toilet, Bluetooth stereo, a swim ladder, and inflatable snorkeling vests. Lifejackets are provided in sizes from infant up to 130 kg. Crew members will guide snorkelling and point out the best areas offshore and the healthiest reefs to visit, offering natural history and photography support as you go.
