The museum uses a variety of modern technologies to bring Norwegian fairy tales and legends to life. Through a mix of art, storytelling and augmented reality, you’ll move through scenes that present traditional tales in fresh ways. Along the way you can explore the Troll Habitat, where myth and interpretation meet interactive media.
All exhibit texts are provided in English and Norwegian. An audio guide is available in 10 languages (Norwegian, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Portuguese, Chinese) and is included in the ticket price. Info touch screens are offered in 11 languages (Norwegian, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Portuguese, Chinese), and tablets with Augmented Reality are also available in the same 11 languages, so you can choose how to experience the stories and background information as you move through the displays.
