At Hell's Gate, New Zealand’s most active geothermal reserve, you’ll explore a landscape of boiling and bubbling features. Guided or self‑guided tours will take you along paths that pass erupting waters, an active mud volcano and distinct land coral. As you move through the reserve, the raw geothermal activity and unusual rock formations will be the main focus of your visit.
