You’ll be picked up and taken to see Lima’s highlights, starting in Miraflores. First you’ll visit Huaca Pucllana, the ancient pyramid built in 200 BC (panoramic), then stop at the Park of Love for photos with the monument known as “the kiss.” Leaving Miraflores, you’ll travel to a less touristy fishermen’s village and visit a local fish market to learn about everyday life in Lima.
The route continues through Chorrillos to Barranco, the bohemian district where you’ll see street art and cross the Bridge of Sighs. Lunch will be at an indigenous market, where you’ll have the chance to try local ceviche. After lunch, the tour moves to the Historic Centre of Lima for a guided walking tour. You’ll explore the catacombs beneath the San Francisco church and visit the Main Square and San Martín Plaza as part of the programme.
