You will visit the Batak Visitor Center and Cultural Village to learn about one of the Philippines’ endangered indigenous groups and the community efforts to preserve their traditions. The centre and the Kultura Batak Tourism Producers Cooperative were set up to support Batak cultural life and create livelihood opportunities from tourism. Alongside informative exhibits, the cooperative runs an Arts and Crafts project that produces and sells ethnic crafts at the centre’s souvenir shop.
As you move through the site, traditional music and dances are showcased in cultural presentations to enhance interaction and understanding. The experience also includes a trek to the village in the mountains, where you can observe aspects of everyday Batak life and the living traditions the community is maintaining. This is presented as a community‑based sustainable tourism activity, designed to benefit local people while sharing their culture with visitors.
The tour includes a private van with driver and a tour guide for your group, and lunch is included.
