No prior scuba experience is needed — just the desire to go deeper in Rincón. You will breathe underwater and explore a live coral reef on supervised shore dives at two of the area’s best sites, Tres Palmas Marine Reserve and Black Eagle Beach. The experience gives you a real sense of what scuba feels like before committing to a full certification course.
You will learn at a proper training facility with professional, certified instructors and receive a full marine life and eco briefing. Groups will be no larger than four people per instructor, so this is not a rushed experience run out of a truck. All dives are shore entries from the beach, with no boat involved and zero risk of motion sickness — you walk in from the sand for a relaxed, accessible introduction to diving. Ability to swim is required; prior snorkelling experience is recommended but not essential.
