At the beach, you'll begin with a brief introduction to surfing, the local shoreline, currents and ocean safety. This orientation will give you the basic context you need to feel comfortable by the water.
An on-the-beach demonstration will then show you the paddling technique and how to stand up on the board. You will learn the core basics of surfing through these explanations and demonstrations. After practising on land, you'll head into the water to put what you’ve learned into action and enjoy your first time riding the waves.
