On this outing from the Sado River estuary you will observe a unique community of bottlenose dolphins that have permanent residence in the area. These dolphins are larger than common dolphins and have a darker, anthracite-grey hue. You will also see common dolphins, which are smaller and extremely fast. Along the way you may learn to recognise the differences in size, colour and behaviour between the two species.
The boat used for the trip is fast, which helps when tracking dolphins that travel many nautical miles in a short time. Because of its design, it also allows for very close observation, so you can take excellent photos and videos to share with family and friends. Our success rate in finding these friendly mammals is around 100%, but dolphins are wild and unpredictable. We will locate them in different places on each trip, which makes every outing a unique and unrepeatable experience.
