Your visit begins in the visitors' barn with an introduction to the alpacas, their fleeces, the farm’s breeding programmes and the aims you’ve set out to achieve. From the moment you meet your driver/guide in Manchester, you will head into the landscapes of North Wales. Along the way your guide will keep you up to date with the history and culture of the areas you pass, and you’ll hear why North Wales is such a popular tourist destination in the UK. You will step back into Victorian Britain in Llandudno, then travel to Conwy and experience the medieval atmosphere around its imposing castle. Leaving Conwy, you will travel west toward the island of Anglesea before turning inland into Eryri (Snowdonia National Park). Here you will be taken off the beaten track to see some of the park’s wonders. The route continues south through Betws-Y-Coed, where you will have a brief stopover, and finishes at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct — a World Heritage Site that spans the River Dee 125 feet below.

At Wetley Moor Alpacas in Stoke-on-Trent you will enjoy a festive, family-friendly experience with the farm’s alpacas and donkeys. Along the way you can take photos with the animals, meet Santa in his grotto (complete with his rein'paccas), and take part in a range of Christmas-themed activities. Children may paint decorations, write letters to Santa and try simple festive crafts, while everyone can interact with other small animals in the petting shed.
