This experience combines sightseeing in Milan’s historic centre with a hands-on cooking class. You’ll take a guided walk that starts at Duomo Square, where you can view the Cathedral, the city’s landmark. As you move through the centre, you’ll walk along the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery with its shops and cafés and reach Piazza della Scala, where you can admire one of the most famous Opera Houses in the world. You’ll also visit the Sforza Castle, associated with the Sforza family; Leonardo da Vinci took part in one of the castle’s decoration works. The castle is described as quite atypical, since it doesn’t follow the classic form with tall towers: there is a tower in the middle with a clock and two lower wings to either side that form a rectangular shape. Later, you’ll learn the secrets of Italian cooking in a class with an expert chef. The session focuses on authentic techniques and recipes so you can practise and taste what you prepare. This combination of cultural sightseeing and practical cooking gives a balanced view of Milan’s history and food traditions.
