This pass lets you step into the world of LEGO® and experience rides, attractions and shows based on the popular toy. You can ride dragon-themed rollercoasters suitable from everyone from small children to adrenaline junkies. You’ll also see models of Japanese cities, including Kyoto and Nagoya, built from over ten million toy bricks, and have the opportunity to tour a LEGO® Factory and shop for souvenirs.

Departing from Nagoya, this one-day tour will take you to visit the mountain city of Takayama, as well as Shirakawa – a UNESCO-listed Japanese village. In Takayama, you'll have the chance to explore either the Miyagawa or Jinya-mae Morning Markets, where you'll be able to sample local delicacies like Hida beef and Takayama ramen. Once you've had lunch, you'll journey to the village of Shirakawa. Here, you'll have the opportunity to admire scenic views of thatched houses and rice fields from the Ogimachi Castle Observation Deck, as well as learn why Shirakawa is known as the 'Kingdom of Forests and Streams'.

With admission to the Sky Promenade outdoor observation deck at the Midland Square skyscraper, you can experience the skyline of Nagoya from staggering heights reaching up to 721 ft. You can explore the deck between floors 44 and 46 of the tower and take in views in every direction. And if you head up at night, you'll see the city lights sparkling all around you.

On this day trip from Nagoya, you'll visit Ghibli Park, where you'll be able to immerse yourself in the world of Studio Ghibli. You'll be joined by an English-speaking National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter for the duration of your journey to the park. Upon arrival at the park, you'll be given a Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass, which will give you access to all five areas: Ghibli's Grand Warehouse, Hill of Youth, Dondoko Forest, Mononoke Village and Valley of Witches. This experience guides you through three historic towns in central Japan: Gujo Hachiman, Hida Takayama and Shirakawa‑go with the Gokayama Gassho‑Zukuri Villages. In Gujo Hachiman, located in Gifu Prefecture, the streets have kept an atmosphere much like the Edo period. You’ll walk past rows of old houses that have been designated as a group of important traditional buildings by the national government. A clear waterway runs close to the eaves of the houses, and the town is known for that distinctive riverside setting. Hida Takayama preserves its character as an Edo‑period castle town. Along the old streets you’ll find opportunities to enjoy local gourmet food and to browse traditional Hida handicraft shops and candy stores. The setting makes for a leisurely stroll through historic streets and small, craft‑based businesses. Shirakawa‑go and the Gokayama Gassho‑Zukuri Villages are noted for their thatched gassho‑zukuri houses—some 100 of these traditional buildings still remain and are used by local residents. The area has been inscribed in the Michelin Green Guide Japon and as a World Heritage Site. It feels like the hometown of Japan, where you can sense rural culture and a traditional lifestyle that reflects the country’s original landscape.

Until May 2026 the Aichi Museum of Flight is open on Mondays and Fridays to Sundays, the Toyota Automobile Museum on Wednesdays, and the Seto‑Gura Museum on Tuesdays and Thursdays. From June 2026 the Aichi Museum of Flight will be closed; the Toyota Automobile Museum will be available on Wednesdays and Fridays to Sundays, and the Seto‑Gura Museum on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

On this small-group tour with round-trip transport from Nagoya, you’ll step into rural Japan along the historic Nakasendo trail. Your experienced guide will lead you through the preserved post town of Tsumago-juku and then along an 8 km section of the old route, passing waterfalls and countryside where local wildlife can be spotted before you reach the scenic post town of Magome-juku. As you move through the towns, you’ll have chances to browse handmade crafts and sample local fare. The walk offers a quieter, less-travelled way to experience Japan’s heartland and its traditional post towns. This tour combines a morning of snow fun high in the Japan Alps with a visit to the thatched‑roof village of Shirakawa‑go. You will travel from Nagoya on a private tour bus and can use luggage storage, so you can relax and enjoy the mountain views as you move between locations. At a pastoral highland farm you will spend time in fresh powder snow. You may go sledding or simply play in the snow while taking in the alpine scenery. The visit will centre on the people, culture and historical threads that define Nagahama, offering a balanced view of both everyday life and ceremonial moments.

In Seki, Gifu, a town with a long history of Japanese sword and knife making, you will craft your own Damascus kitchen knife. You will choose a preferred blade style—Santoku, Gyuto, Nakiri or Bunka—depending on availability. Along the way, you will hand-draw your name, a message, a symbol or artwork onto the blade, then finish, sharpen and test it side by side with a master craftsman who has more than 50 years of experience. The experience also includes a local Japanese lunch, and you will learn about Japanese blade making as you work. This is not a rushed group workshop. Each guest is guided step by step at their own pace, so the session is comfortable even for beginners. A highlight is a sharpness test using a vegetable, which may surprise you. You will leave Seki with a Damascus knife you helped create and a deeper appreciation for traditional Japanese blade craftsmanship.

In Nagahama, a historic castle town where samurai heritage meets lively local life, a guided bar-hopping tour will take you through atmospheric streets and neighbourhoods. Along the way, you will visit two carefully selected establishments chosen to showcase the city’s food and drink scene. The route will give you a sense of how traditional and modern hospitality sit side by side here. At the venues, you will sample local specialities at cosy izakayas serving Omi beef and at modern bars that highlight regional craft beers. A professional guide will share insights into Nagahama’s history and culinary traditions as you move between stops. You will also have opportunities to connect with locals in intimate settings, which will help bring the town’s vibrant culture to life. At Nagahama Castle you will explore a key site in Japan’s history and learn how Toyotomi Hideyoshi began his rise during the Warring States era. An expert local guide will lead the tour across the castle grounds and share fascinating stories about Hideyoshi’s ascent from humble origins to a commanding warlord. As you move through the site, you will gain context about the Sengoku period and the people and events that shaped it. You will also have access to the Nagahama Castle Historical Museum. The museum’s exhibits on the Sengoku period and its key battles include original artifacts that help bring the era to life. Finally, you will take in panoramic views from the museum’s rooftop observation deck, which overlooks Lake Biwa and links the castle’s history with the surrounding landscape.
