This extreme caving experience takes you into parts of the cave that are normally inaccessible. It involves entering sections that cannot be reached without proper gear and scrambling skills. You will be taught basic rope-handling techniques so you can explore the cave safely, and guides will watch over you every step of the way to help you feel comfortable.
You will descend a 50-metre underground gallery where you can put your newly learned caving techniques to the test. As you move deeper, you will pass striking formations, including calcite crystals and rare snail-shaped dripstones. Along the way you will scale walls using ropes and at times hang above the cave’s abyss, traversing slippery formations while your guides lead and support you. Throughout the descent you will learn about the cave itself and the wildlife that lives there, gaining both practical skills and a better understanding of this subterranean environment.
