If you’ve already seen Antalya’s main sights and want something more local, this hands-on workshop offers an intimate look at Turkish coffee culture. In a small workshop led by a coffee master, you’ll learn traditions and customs around Turkish coffee and the practice of reading fortunes from the cup.
As you move through the session, you’ll learn the history of Turkish coffee and try two brewing methods: coffee made on sand and coffee brewed on a stove. You may choose from five different types of beans, blended to suit your taste, and you’ll learn the detailed technique for making coffee on sand at home. Along the way, the coffee master will explain how to select suitable accompaniments and what role each plays. The experience finishes with a gift of Turkish delight and a sample of the unique coffee blend.
