This whitewater rafting experience on the Middle Ocoee River with OAR is suitable for participants aged 12 and over. All equipment and transportation to and from the river are provided, and highly trained guides will teach you and your crew the rafting techniques and safety skills needed for the trip.
You will navigate up to five miles of class III and IV rapids, which offer a mix of challenging manoeuvres and exciting drops. Class IV rapids are described as difficult, with constricted passages that often require complex manoeuvring in turbulent water. As you move through the river, guides will tailor the run to match your group’s comfort level — from a steadier ride to a wilder experience — so you can choose how adventurous you want the day to be.
