After meeting at the public boat launch, you'll spend a leisurely day paddling on Lake Tarleton. The White Mountains frame the water, and Mt. Moosilauke — one of the White Mountains' famous 4,000-footers — will feature prominently on the horizon as you move through the lake.
You will be provided with paddling equipment and a detailed pamphlet that includes photos and information about the sights around the lake. Along the way, the pamphlet will point out notable shoreline features and offer recommended directions for how to proceed on the water, so you can follow a suggested route or explore at your own pace.
