At Garrison Brothers Distillery you’ll join a weekly Cocktail Class where you learn practical bar skills and the stories behind the spirits. The session covers the essentials of cocktail-making — measuring, straining, garnishing and more — as you work through the Whiskey Shack’s featured cocktail of the month. Instruction is hands-on, so you’ll practise techniques and see how a professional cocktail is built.
After making the featured drink, you’ll put those skills to use by mixing your own unique variation. Along the way you’ll also explore the history of bourbon and hear about Texas’ first legal bourbon distillery. The experience balances practical mixology with context, so you leave with both new techniques and a clearer sense of the place and tradition behind the whiskey.
